The semi-static effects of tilting trains running

on the track superstructure are investigated by

means of linear mathematical models.These effects are

due to the increase of the running speeds in curves with

given geometrical and constructional characteristics in

comparison with the design speed of the track. The research

covers bogies with conventional axles and considers

the running of tilting trains on existing conventional

lines.
